Blue Springs Mo

Today wasn't a good travel day.  I think the GPS demons were on the prowl.  We were looking for campground in Indepence, Mo.  GPS said it knew where it was and it took us on a wild goose chase that ended at a grassy overgrown empty lot.  GPS says your here.  But here was nothing.  Bummer

We found a shopping center lot to pull over into and start calling.  Jim and Libbie had lost us but actually found Campus RV Park, which was where we were going.  But it wasn't to be.  They had no room at the inn, so to speak.  We got on the phone and starting calling places.  It seems there is a ballgame tonight (baseball, Boston playing Kansas City)  Our luck changed and we found Blue Springs Campground.

After we got settled in, we  looked up my former employer and good friend Dr. Perry and his wife Gail.

They moved to Blue Springs to be closer to their daughter.  They love it here and have settled in nicely.  We sure do miss them back home though.
