A Tour of the resort and lunch out of a truck

This morning I decided to take a walk around the park to see everything it had to offer.  This is the swimming pool.  It was hard to get a picture without going in because of all of the bushes and flowers surrounding the pool.  It gives it a lot of privacy though.
Right next to the pool is a large building that houses a bunch of stuff.  Here is an outdoor kitchen.

This is right in back of the building.
This is looking down the back of the building.
When I turned around this was behind me.  You can barely see the outdoor kitchen on the left.
This is what was inside the building.  A workout room, pool table and a meeting place.
They even had fresh popcorn popping.
Now this is the front of the same building.  The flowers were beautiful.  When you go into these doors, you will find the laundry room.

Another couple of shots of the pretty flowers everywhere.
Just a shot of one row of fifth wheels, travel trailers and motorhomes.
This 1977 corvette is for sale.  It looked very nice inside.  They are asking $16,000 if your interested.
They have a very nice dog wash station.
Hot and cold water and a nice sprayer.  What more could you ask for?
Notice the ramp for the big dogs.  Buddy was checking it out, but when he realized what it was, he went in the other direction.
It is a very pretty park.  Very convenient too.  Close to lots of shopping.
They even offer free air!!!   LOL
For lunch Mike wanted us to try something different.  He wanted us to go to the Truck Park for lunch.  I didn't know what he was talking about. It's not actually a park, park.  It's really just a parking place for food trucks to park.  LOL
This truck offered different kinds of burgers.  Doug got his burger from here.
This truck had several different sandwiches, burgers, including the Swamp Burger and some Mexican dishes.

There are tables to sit and eat, if you want.

This is the truck I chose.  The Copper Chefs.  Gourmet food out of a truck.
This is what I got.  It is Arranicini.  It is fried risotto with cheese and italian sausage.  It was very good.
Here is Doug's hamburger.  He said it was very good.  He couldn't eat all of those fries.
The guy at the next table got the Swamp Burger.  It was a lot bigger than it looks.  It was made from Bison, Boar and Alligator tail meat.  On top they put shrimp and crawfish etoufeè.  He said it was delicious.   The food truck park was a neat place to eat.  The food was very good and there were a lot of people that said they came to the food park a lot on their lunch hour.  There was a truck that sold cold drinks and desserts.  The owner of this truck owns the lot.  None of the food trucks sold drinks.  That is the agreement so the food trucks can park on the lot.  Neat huh..
So check out a truck vendor sometime.  Who knows you might be eating gourmet food from a future famous chef.
Later...
